Stonehaugh Allotment Society

The aim of the SAS is to promote horticulture in Stonehaugh.


All members of the community are welcome to attend, whether you wish to hold an allotment or are just interested in developments.

People from Stonehaugh and the surrounding area can apply for an allotment. Renting a plot is currently £12 per annum, renewable in January each year. There may be half plots available.

Monthly meetings first Thursday of the month.

Stonehaugh Community Hall Trust (Registered Charity number: 1125384)

The Community Hall is run as a charitable trust for the inhabitants of the parish of Wark. It is available for private
hire. For booking enquiries please speak to Anne 230624. Meetings held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Stonehaugh First Responders

Community First Responder volunteers are trained to attend emergency calls received by the ambulance service and provide care until the ambulance arrives. We are lucky to have people in the community who have been trained in first aid and can reach people quickly. St John's Ambulance info

Stonehaugh Gardening Club

So.. you think you have green fingers then join the gardening/leek club. The annual gardening and leek show is organised by the leek club and takes place every September. Cash prizes for the leeks are substantial and so throughout the year funds are raised with Easter Bingo, Christmas Bottle Bingo and a monthly numbers draw.

Stonehaugh Social Club

The Social Club, first opened in 1956, runs all bar activities and will hold a late licence for Friday and Saturday nights in the new Hall. Opening times are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Children under 14 are welcome before 10pm. Friday is family night and as such children are welcome with parental supervision. Monthly meetings second Tuesday of the month.

Stonehaugh Village Greens Committee

Meetings provide the opportunity for members (residents of the village) to raise any issues or make suggestions concerning general village matters, and amenity areas. The Greens is your Residents Association. Additionally the Village Greens Association organises a year round programme of social village events and recreational activities. These currently include Valentines Night, Easter Activities, Summer Fun Day/Fair, Halloween, Bonfire Night, and the Village Christmas Party.

Monthly meetings are on the third Thursday of the month.
